Rumble Privacy Policy
Effective July 18, 2026
Rumble (“the app”) is an earthquake tracker published by Millicent Systems LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information. It applies to the Rumble iOS app.
Information we collect
None. Rumble has no login, no user accounts, and no server-side profile. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, device identifiers for tracking, or usage analytics. We have no database of Rumble users.
Location
Location access is optional. If you allow it, the app uses your approximate location on your device to show how near recent earthquakes are to you and to sort nearby activity. Your location is not transmitted to Millicent Systems, not stored on our servers, and not shared with anyone. If you deny location access, the app still works and simply omits “near me” distances. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings.
Network services the app contacts
To show live earthquakes and maps, the app makes ordinary internet requests to the services below. Like any internet request, these necessarily reveal your device’s IP address and the content being requested to that service — Rumble sends no account or identifying information along with them:
- U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) — live earthquake data. USGS is a U.S. government agency; its feeds are public.
- Millicent Systems map tile server — our own hosted basemap tiles.
- CARTO CDN — map label fonts and icons for the basemap.
Each of these providers may log standard request metadata (such as IP address and timestamp) under its own policies. We do not receive or retain that data.
Notifications
This version of Rumble does not send push notifications and does not register your device for them. If a future version offers earthquake alerts, it will be strictly opt-in, and this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is stored to deliver them.
Analytics, advertising & tracking
There are none. Rumble contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or attribution SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Children
Rumble is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Data retention & your rights
Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing for us to retain, delete, or export on your behalf. Removing the app removes any preferences it stored locally on your device.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
